Accessibility Statement

We want VestFoundry to be usable by as many people as possible. This statement describes our approach and the features in place today.

Our Commitment to Accessibility

Accessibility is an ongoing priority for VestFoundry. We aim to make our calculators and guides usable by everyone, including people who rely on keyboards or assistive technologies, and we improve the site as it grows.

Accessibility Approach

VestFoundry is designed with accessibility in mind. We build on semantic HTML and standard, widely supported web patterns so the site works well with keyboards and assistive technologies. Rather than claiming a formal certification, we are actively working toward broad accessibility.

Current Accessibility Features

The site currently includes the following:

  • Semantic landmarks โ€” a header/navigation region, a main content area, and a footer โ€” plus a โ€œSkip to main contentโ€ link for keyboard users.
  • A single, clear page heading (H1) per page with a logical heading order.
  • Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator on interactive elements.
  • Form fields with associated labels, plus required-field and error cues wired for assistive technologies.
  • A declared page language (lang="en").
  • Light and dark themes that honor your system color-scheme preference.
  • Reduced-motion support: animations and transitions are minimized when you enable โ€œreduce motion.โ€
  • Responsive layouts that adapt to screen size and support browser zoom.
  • Decorative graphics and icons hidden from assistive technologies so they don't add noise.

Known Limitations

We want to be transparent about where we are. VestFoundry has not undergone a formal, independent accessibility audit, and we do not claim WCAG conformance at this time. Some content โ€” such as data visualizations and charts โ€” is primarily visual and may have limited text alternatives. We have also not tested every combination of browser and assistive technology.
